This course will cover treatments to the anterior and posterior cervical muscles that are most affected by a front or rear end automobile accident.
Review of cervical vertebrae, scapula, clavical, sternum and occiput as muscle attachment points. Treatment of trapezius, spleni, scalenes, SCM and the deep anterior and posterior cervical muscles.
Information on the symptoms and treatment of active trigger points caused by overload to the muscles caused by hypercontraction and hyper extension of the muscles of the head and neck.
The class will also include stretches and corrective actions to show your client how to extend the benefits of the treatment.
We are a fully furnished massage school facility and provide Oakworks massage tables, classroom tables and computer/projector for overhead presentations.
Just bring pen, paper and linens.
