NC Massage School Terms of Service

MH Lake Norman LLC, doing business as NC Massage School (“NCMS”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), operates the NC Massage School website and the NCMS MyPath platform at ncmassageschool.net (“MyPath” or “the Service”). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our website, MyPath, and related online services.
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who May Use the Service
The Service is intended for applicants, prospective students, enrolled students, faculty, and administrative staff of NC Massage School. MyPath is intended for adults 18 years of age or older. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old or otherwise legally able to enter into these Terms.
2. Use of MyPath
MyPath is provided to support student admissions, enrollment, attendance, educational recordkeeping, communications, and administrative processes for NC Massage School.
You agree to use MyPath only for lawful and authorized purposes, including:
- Submitting accurate application or enrollment information
- Reviewing and completing required school documents
- Communicating with NC Massage School staff
- Accessing records or information made available to you
- Participating in school-related administrative processes
3. Account Access and Security
Access to MyPath may require sign-in through a third-party identity provider, such as Google. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your login credentials through that provider.
You agree not to share your account access, impersonate another person, or attempt to access information or areas of the Service that you are not authorized to access.
4. Accuracy of Information
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when submitting applications, admissions questionnaires, enrollment documents, contact details, payment records, or other information through the Service.
NC Massage School may rely on the information you provide for admissions, enrollment, educational recordkeeping, communications, and compliance purposes.
5. Electronic Signatures and Documents
MyPath may allow you to review, acknowledge, initial, or electronically sign forms, agreements, disclosures, and other school-related documents.
By submitting an electronic signature, typed name, checkbox acknowledgment, initials, or similar action, you agree that your electronic action may have the same legal effect as a handwritten signature, where permitted by applicable law.
6. Communications
By using the Service, you agree that NC Massage School may contact you regarding your application, enrollment, student status, administrative matters, scheduling, records, and school-related updates.
Communications may include email, phone calls, or text messages where you have provided consent. Message and data rates may apply for SMS communications. You may opt out of text messages by replying STOP to any SMS message.
7. Payments and Financial Records
MyPath may display or track charges, payments, credits, balances, receipts, or invoices for administrative purposes. Payments may be processed outside of MyPath.
Any tuition, fees, refunds, payment deadlines, or financial obligations are governed by the applicable enrollment agreement, school policy, or written agreement between you and NC Massage School.
8. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited uses include, but are not limited to:
- Submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
- Interfering with the security or proper operation of the Service
- Uploading malicious code, viruses, or harmful files
- Using the Service to harass, threaten, or impersonate others
- Copying, scraping, or extracting data without authorization
- Violating any applicable law, regulation, or school policy
9. Educational Records and Privacy
Information submitted through the Service may become part of your application, enrollment, attendance, academic, financial, or administrative record with NC Massage School.

10. Intellectual Property

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the Service or its content without prior written permission, except as needed for your personal use as an applicant, student, faculty member, or staff member.

The Service may use or connect with third-party providers, including identity providers, email delivery services, text messaging providers, cloud hosting services, and other tools used to operate MyPath.
Your use of third-party services may also be subject to those providers’ own terms and privacy policies.
12. Availability of the Service
We strive to keep the Service available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The Service may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, outages, or circumstances beyond our control.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, NC Massage School disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NC Massage School, its owners, employees, instructors, contractors, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
15. Termination or Restriction of Access
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Service at any time if we believe a user has violated these Terms, misused the Service, created a security risk, violated school policy, or engaged in unlawful activity.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Effective date” at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles.
