This class is designed to give massage therapists the beginning knowledge of essential oils that can be used to create their own therapeutic oils, creams, butters and scrubs.

We will focus on essential oils and their use in massage therapy.  We will concentrate on five oils including:  lavender, rosemary, lemon, sage and frankincense.  We will discuss the oils properties and therapeutic effects.  We will also instruct therapists on how they can create their own therapeutic oils, lotions, creams and scrubs.  We will discuss base products:  different oils, butters, creams and exfoliants.

Actual products will be made by the students and each will be given a “cook book” to use at home.

BEST OF ALL – You will will be introduced to aromatherapy in a way that is interesting, fun and practical for your individual massage practice!

We are a fully furnished massage school facility and provide Oakworks massage tables, linens, class tables, and computer/projector for overhead presentations.

Just bring pen and paper.
