Course Description: These three muscles are the most common causes of soft tissue pain and injury in runner’s. Whether your client is an avid runner or just started the sport, you will learn how to treat the muscles to relieve pain and improve performance. Injuries such as, Plantar Fasciitis, Jogger’s Heel and Shin Splint’s are common to runner’s.
Comprehend how these injuries develop and how to relieve them with stretching and soft tissue techniques.
Understand common pain patterns and symptoms of restrictions in these muscles to help alleviate pain in your clients before injury occurs.
Develop proficiency in palpation of these three muscles.
Perform contract relax muscle energy techniques on them.
Utilize various techniques to reset these muscles to a normal resting length.
BEST OF ALL – You will perform and receive a one hour treatment on some of the tightest muscles in your body.
