Would you like to increase your client retention and get more referrals? This is your opportunity to expand your neuromuscular massage skills and set yourself apart from other therapists. In taking this 16 hour CE course, you will enhance your ability to confidently assess and treat vertebral deviations of the spinal column, thus supporting greater integrity of the spinal cord and the associated nerves branching away from the core.

Alignment creates ease, efficiency and balance. This class is focused on regaining structural symmetry. Postural Alignment of the Spine provides clear, easy to understand protocols on how to successfully treat postural dysfunction along the midsagittal plane. By understanding how to align the vertebral column, your clients will experience better trunk movement, lessened pain and improved organ efficiency. In applying the techniques taught in this class, you will develop a keen understanding of lumbar imbalances and how to spot secondary compensation patterns within the erector spinae muscles. In this class, defined, hands-on applications are delivered with precision, making it possible to achieve great results for the client. Katy Hartness, LMBT NC # 2633, is by your side to teach and assist you every step of the way.

As for clothes to wear, the course is divided almost equally between taking notes and applying hands-on techniques (with a bit more time spent in the hands-on arena). With that in mind, yoga wear is a good idea. Students will want something comfortable and easy to remove on their upper half. Bare backs will need to be worked on. Also, students will need to bring their own massage tables linens including the face cradle covers. I will provide all treatment creams (unless someone is really tied to his/her own potion).

Testimonials, October 2017:

“This was the BEST CEU I have ever taken. Most of them just got through the motions. She really was knowledgeable about everything she taught us. [Katy] was a great instructor and I will be looking for more classes that she teaches.”
Y. Mackey

“I underestimated how powerful this course actually is. I thought when signing up it wouldn’t be very much new information, but I was wrong! Katy’s knowledge, experience and skill and fantastic interpersonal and communication skills have made this one of the best classes I have ever taken.”

“The instructor was engaged at all times. She also made it fun! She worked hands-on with all students in order to make sure that each understood and felt what they were supposed to. Theory was discussed that answered many of my own questions with posture. The protocol for treatment was felt immediately after the treatment. I definitely will be applying the skills that I learned into my practice and look forward to taking more classes with Katy in the future.”
