Fascia: Anatomy & the Art of Letting Go!
Fascia: Anatomy and the Art of Letting Go – 10 CEs plus Free home study Ethics class 6 hours. 16 hours for $180.
Explore the fascinating layer of connective tissue known as fascia and how integral this layer of our anatomy is- from a physical and an energetic perspective. Understand how we can open, lengthen and soften our fascia in order to get our bodies AND our lives UNSTUCK. We will spend 1 hour each day in the yoga mat holding deep stretches to create space and free tension from repetitive motion. No experience or flexibility necessary- these stretches meet you where you are: beginners and advanced yogis.
Dear participants of Fascia: Anatomy and the Art of Letting Go,
Please bring a pen to jot notes and an item to represent yourself in our introductory circle (this item will go home with you when you leave). Dress in pants that allow you to move freely.
Sally Raspberry has over 1,200 hours of training in Yoga, Spiritual Counseling and Ayurveda, and an additional 1,000 hours of training as a massage therapist. In 2001 she began to walk the path of therapeutic massage, graduating from Medical Arts Massage School in Raleigh,NC. She began teaching continuing education to massage therapists in 2008 after graduating from Body Therapy Institute’s Spirit of Learning teacher certification program. As her daughters grew and flourished, Sally shaped her career around them, opening an in-home yoga-based Buddhist preschool (Zen Garden). Graduating from New World Ayurveda as an Ayurvedic Practitioner in 2014 Sally was inspired to pursue her Restorative Yoga training and RYT 200 at Yoga Garden in Apex, NC.
Maintaining a hands-on relationship with her beautiful children and a thriving massage therapy practice, Sally’s vibrance, curiosity and creativity drive her to explore deeply profound ways of healing and growing to share with every individual she meets. Sally will graduate with her Bachelor’s degree in Ayurvedic Studies from Maharishi University of Management in 2020 as well as her RYT 500 from Asheville Yoga Center in 2019. When she’s not outside with her children or studying Ayurveda, Sally can be found delighting in her career at Revive Wellness, traveling to teach retreats in the NC mountains and coast, hiking Umstead with her boyfriend or teaching yoga at Evolve Movement, Raleigh Yoga Center, Blue Lotus, and Yoga Garden.
