Program description: Most people find it stressful to discuss boundary issues, however, life is more fulfilling and satisfying if we live with honor and integrity in all our relationships and business dealings. Much confusion exists amongst practitioners about what is and what is not ethical behavior. This confusion can be even more complex for somatic practitioners.

This course assists practitioners in the ability to hear client’s thoughts, feelings as well as their bodies without reacting emotionally but rationally and professionally. This course encourages the student to reflect upon their reactions to any situation and to ensure that the experience is a fiduciary one for the client.

Benefits for massage and bodywork therapist:

By increasing your awareness of you clients boundaries (as well as your own), you can improve the therapeutic relationship and avoid many inadvertent slips into unethical behavior.
Improves your personal life relationships.

This class meets and exceeds North Carolina’s 3 Ethics CEU requirements.
